Manual Anti-Malware Updates 31MAY10

I have just returned from vacation, and started up my desktop. Spybot and SpywareBlaster both had updates in my absence. I ran the manual updates, after the AVG 9.0 automatic updating, and running a virus scan.

In my blog post of 12MAY10: http://bpcablog.blogspot.com/2010/05/spybot-definitions-update-and-anti.html, I explained about my practice of checking for updates manually for anti-malware freeware I use.

This post is a follow up to notify those that use the same freeware that updates are available. I will post whenever I run my manual updates, and find that a new one is available.

Spybot Search & Destroy 1.6.2 had the above Detection Rule updates 26MAY10

SpywareBlaster

SpywareBlaster 4.3 had a database update 30MAY10.
